Kindergarten
The kindergarten classes are dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging educational environment that fosters a love for learning and helps each child reach their full potential.
Curriculum
Kindergarten uses the Starfall Curriculum for Mathematics and English Language Arts which is integrated with Science and Social Studies. In our Biblically centered classroom, students hone skills in a variety of ways to become readers, to develop number sense, and to love one another like Jesus.
Progress Reports
Progress reports are sent home at the end of each semester. Assessments are based on classroom observations, class work, and individual testing. In addition, we offer two parent/teacher conferences during the school year.
The structured daily schedule in kindergarten offers a variety of engaging learning opportunities for our students, including seat work to develop focus and concentration, centers to encourage independent exploration and social interaction, hands-on activities to promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and class learning to foster a sense of community and collaboration.
