2s Classes
The 2s classes provide a vibrant and engaging environment where young learners embark on exciting adventures in early childhood education.
Curriculum
Utilizing the well-developed Frog Street Press Curriculum, we introduce the letters A-Z, numbers 1-10 and the basic shapes and colors. We have weekly themes for the children to experience and explore that help make learning educational and fun through interactive play, art projects, stories and focused center time. We share Bible stories weekly and use biblical concepts during all aspects of our day.
Progress Reports
We perform two progress assessments each year. One mid-year and one towards the end of the second semester. Our progress reports are primarily focused on social and emotional development of the children in the classroom and preschool setting. We also assess academic progress on the letters, numbers, shapes, colors and Spanish we have introduced, but the primary goal of our progress report is to give you a glimpse of how your child is doing in our program overall.
Daily Schedule
The daily schedule includes a mix of group activities, free play, story time, snack, and outdoor play to keep our little ones engaged and learning throughout the day.
